About

My name is Maria. Recently I have finished my undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science at Jagiellonian University. Now I’m a student of Data Science at AGH University of Science and Technology. I first got into social robotics because I believe studying the field requires a great balance between technical and humanistic knowledge, both of which I’m fond of studying. Robots are already present in entertainment as well as to facilitate our daily tasks. I stand by the opinion that studying the social aspects of robots’ presence is really crucial to make them as useful for us as possible.

In my spare time I’m a sports enthusiast - anything from climbing to swimming gives me a great pleasure. When I really want to relax there’s nothing better than going on an active adventure in the wild!
